I am glad, really.

1. Roo is recovering. He was diagnosed with FIA (Feline Infectious Anaemia). First, the blood parasites were transmitted from the infected fleas. Then these nasty parasites caused the RBCs to break down drastically which lead to anaemic condition and at the same time the cat will have fever. The vet gave 2 injections that day... pity Roo. Also, 2 types of antibiotics were given... From what I read over the net, this disease will take sometime to get full recovery. Anyways, am still glad that Roo is getting better!

2. Glad that David Cook has won the American Idol... But my true idol for this season is still Michael Johns. :)

3. A very good friend of mine is finally going for the long awaited interview tomorrow... I'm crossing my fingers... real hard.

4. Weekend is just around the corner... (U must always be grateful for nice things in your life, hehe)

5. Am glad for having someone in my life...

Am going to bed now. Nite nite...

Lesson learned...

Roo and Oliver are sick... They look lethargic all the time. And the worst part is they are infected..by FLEAS... Bathed them and can't wait to get Spot On from St. Angel. Will get them deworming pills too..
So this is the outcome for not sending them to their normal boarding centre. Save money konon. Lesson learned... No more. My poor babies...

Update...

So came back from my hols last Monday...The minute I reached office, it was haywire. Errors, delays and such... Was grateful that my colleagues help out during my absence though...

How was my hols? It was great (except for the first day, rushing here and there for Sunday). After the ceremony ended, we went for a seafood feast! Yummy...:) The next day the whole bunch went to my childhood hometown. It was so refreshing and joyful. We went to my favorite childhood place, the ever humble Poring Hotspring in Ranau and pay a short visit to my grandparents.

Then we stopped at Kundasang to browse for stuffs and to enjoy the view...

Something happened few days after the Poring trip. It was Saturday and I was lazily watched TV when I heard loud siren passing my kampung area... Being an ignorant fella that I could be sometimes, I ignored it. Then my parents called me from the outside of the house, in a frantic kind of way... When I went there, then only I saw a terrible thing was happening... Fire!!!

Some houses across the road were on fire... BIG fire...

Fortunately no one was injured. But what really bugged me was the way the firemen handled the situation. The fire maybe started around 4pm that day and I think (so did a whole lot of people) should the firemen acted more efficiently and aggresively maybe 1 or 2 houses could be saved from the fire. But they didn't and the fire lasted for about 2 hours and the whole bunch of houses were burnt to the ground. Around 70 people who resides there were left homeless that evening. Sad...sad...

The aftermath...

P/S ---> Several individuals did capture the event on video...and you can basically see the way the fire was handled. I did too...
