Walk for Pink World

I'm so tired. It has been a productive Saturday so far...

AM - 3pm
Cleaned my house... Alone! My partner went back to his hometown. Tired tired... Forgotten about lunch too...

3pm
Shower.

4pm
Went down to KL. To KL Tower to be exact. I signed up for :

"Walk for World Pink"

It was fun... but disappointed when my name didn't get called for the lucky draws... :(

Ok.. was kidding, kind of...

This event was actually a charity walk and also as one of the event in a month-long campaign to promote breast cancer awareness amongst the public. The venue was at KL Tower and the walk was length at 3.8km. It was fun. And also goodies bag! This time it's worth RM100 of Estee Lauder companies... and mine was Origin's travel size products. So cute and environmentally friendly products... I like!

And after some speeches when the walk's over, they officially launch the month-long campaign and KL Tower illuminates in pink!!

Before...

Pink, with green ribbon

World pink

World without...

breast cancer!

Some other pics of the event...

"The lanterns me and the girls brought along for the walk, it's the Mid Autumn Festival thing, :)"

"Getting my cheek painted with pink ribbon"

"The crowds"

"The lucky draw's hampers"

Interesting eh? Actually, this maybe my last run / walk event for this year. There's this Quacky Run coming end of this month, but I can't join. Am flying back home that time. :(

So, how's your weekend going so far? Tomorrow I have one Raya invitation to go to. Makan session! :D

Oh no!!! It's September already....

Wah, I've been neglected my blog for awhile... I guess, I was busy the whole time. Anyways, there's nothing much to update too... Everything is still the same...

Wedding part... I would say I'm going with the flow... What flow exactly, I don't even know... haha.

Oh, I have something to look forward to by next week. I'm going to attend...

This!!!

Am soooo excited... Well, you can say this is my first time attending of such event (or you may call it live concert) Yes, pity me huh... Going for my first live concert only at this age... haiih...

And so, it's the long weekend... finally. Am not going anywhere I guess. Oh well... To all my muslim friends, Selamat Hari Raya... and to the rest, enjoy your long weekend... :)

Mixed feelings...

I have a lot of things going through my mind at the moment. The wedding, health issues amongst my family and my partner's family, money issues, and now my sister.... argh... So tiring.

I wish I can just disappear into thin air and not having to deal with all this. I don't know whether I am capable to deal with all this. I don't know whether I am strong enough.

What have I done wrong to deserve this?

Shape Run 2009

This post was meant to be written on Sunday, right after the run itself. But I was so tired, and my feet was starting to feel major pain... so all I managed to do was : uploaded the run pics and soak my feet in warm water for awhile before hitting my bed.

Next morning, (actually it was almost 12pm...haha) I woke up with stiff legs. Apparently the warm water didn't help at all... Yoko2 also not helping... Haihh... After popping a couple of painkillers, I was up on my feet and doing chores around my house... :)

Anyways, about the run... It was FUN as I expected it will be. The event was superb, and since most of my friends (i.e. old colleagues, current colleagues, gym buddies) were there, it was a blast! Well, I was nervous right before the run started though... looking at all those regular runners... (I would think they're regulars just because their outfits sure look like they are... am I making any sense here? Haha)

The run started @ 8pm... and I signed up for Women's Open 11.5km. Guess what?? I finished the whole run and my personal time was 1 hour and 50 minutes!!! Hey, don't laugh... I am proud that I finished the run and NO... I was not the last to arrive. I would say I was in the average group?? Haha whatever la.. So @ 9.50pm, I reached the finishing line and upon approaching there was this one cool guy (I think one of the organizing crew) who was cheering and give encouragement to us to run the last 100 m or so.. and I did!!!

So here, the goodie bag that first attracted me to join this run.. (hehehe)

Actually, there's few voucher's in the envelope that I've forgotten to put to display

The vest (or what should I call it, running top?) haha.. Oh it was nice too... by Reebok. Not bad eh... for 30 bucks of joining fee?? And appended below was my certificate for completing the run... Haaha...

So it was an amazing experience... to run at nite at Putrajaya... with all the buildings, roads and bridges were sinfully decorated / lit by loads of lights ... I think some are unnecessary though... what a total waste of energy. And now, my legs are better. At least I can almost walk like a normal person do. So I would say the post effect run was about 2 days top... Not bad.. not bad... :)

Weekend... It's a bland one.

Oh yes, been alone in the house since last Friday nite. The thing is my partner left for his overseas trip for a week and I have nothing scheduled for the weekend. Argh... so bored. Woke up, watched TV, surf the net, eat... I did all that in repetition mode. Went out for awhile for breakfast yesterday and have been inside the house ever since. When think about it, I can actually hit the gym in between... but I was to lazy to drive... So...

Good thing that I have something to look forward to come next weekend... Yey... can't wait for the Shape Run 2009!!! This will be my second run and I couldn't be more excited!!

To add to the fun, the run will be at nite, how cool is that! I signed up for 11.5km and gosh, I haven't been practicing. (Note to self: Gotta hit the treadmill MORE this week) Or else, I'll be panting like mad during the run... and I don't want that.

Wonder how's the weekend been treating you guys so far? Bet you guys had more exciting stuffs happened. I will try to do a lot of blog-hopping soon... so hope to read nice posts from you guys... :)
*** Just want to share something... My partner actually bought me a book before he left for his trip... and I think it's like an act of comforting me because he had to leave me alone for a week.. so sweet...

Busy Bee cum Zombie

I have been very busy lately. Lack of sleep and mounting of stress is basically my routine now. Tons of work to do at the office (and they followed me home too!). I have just cleared one big client's mess and there's another big one to follow... and the cycle will repeat itself until end of July... haiihh...

Got a breather for awhile when I attended my cousin's wedding last Saturday, and since the reception was in Malacca, I took the chance to "jalan-jalan" with my dad, my brother and my partner there... Enjoyed it but was very super tiring...

Hmm, my dad and my brother flew back to KK last nite and life is back to normal in my household. Boring boring...

On wedding prep, I have yet to confirm on the photographer part. Guess I will need to steal a bit of time tomorrow to sort this out. My mom is nagging me on the mass ceremony arrangement. Need to appoint readers, pick the choirs... and bla bla bla... The one thing concerns me the most is to find which readings from the bible that I should choose for the ceremony. Another hmm...

Crossing my fingers for a better and calmer week ahead.

Quick Update : Help pls.

Can someone recommend me a good photographer for my wedding? I haven't got the luck to find one so far. There's this guy I liked, but he's not available on my wedding date. Sigh.

Doing this long distance wedding preparation is starting to bug me. Appreciate your help.

Box-a-Mania

I think my cat is having a midlife crisis. Just the other day, I bought this new sneakers and being the lazy bum that I am, I just threw the box opened on the floor.

Later the next day, my partner (who's "on leave":p) sent me some hilarious pic messages. The pics showed just how crazy and just how much in denial my cat was. Roo (my cat's birth name, haha really!!!) is a big cat. Now he's 6+ years old and weighs around 6++kg. And he's convinced that the shoe box is enough for him.

This is him, took this picture later that night.

Sempat pusing-pusing lagi tu mau cari the best position to fit in!!!

After a short while, the box was finally torn apart. Kesian la tinguk, he's still sleeping "inside" the torn box.

So last thursday, I decided to smuggle one big enough cpu box from the office. Upon reaching home that evening, I opened the box and put it at one corner of my house and....

Wala!!!

He's one happy cat again!

Yey!

I got tired of my previous template already!!! Hmm, so thinking of getting a simpler version with a hint of pink, of course. So I think this one is ok. For now. :)

Poisoned

I'm currently at home. Or to be exact, spending most of my time running to the loo at home. You see, I just came back from KK on wee hours of yesterday and up until now, I am still down with food poisoning. It started on Monday noon and up till now I'm still suffering from diarrhoea, nausea and stomach cramp till now.
I still went to work yesterday cause I really2 have too. And I even went out for dinner for my colleague's farewell last nite. But today I decided to see my doctor and rest at home (where the toilet is nearer).
Most of my family members were also down with food poisoning and are recovering at home. My partner was excluded though. Hmm... I suspected it was the shellfish or could be the chunks of big fish we bought in Tuaran.

What a disaster!

Sigh of relief... We've done it!

Procrastination

What a word. But I do this a lot. Really A LOT... How should I not do this too often? It's a total bliss to let go of everything at that specific moment and swore yourself to get back to them later. Later, will there be any?

Sudden change of plans...

I can't believe it, but I'll be flying back to KK again next Wednesday!!! Soooo unexpected.

It's a long story but I'll try to make it short. It's all about the pre-marriage course/talk. The thing is my partner and I were suppose to take the course this July 17th. Everything was going smoothly until my partner was assigned to go attend a convention in London on the same date. Wargh!!! Tension tension. The most barnacle part was that he can't do anything to change or cancel the trip coz apparently it was already decided by the mother company and otherbla bla bla. O_O

So since we don't have much time until the wedding, we have to find other means to take the course. Search punya search, the most suitable will be the one at Sacred Heart KK this coming June. Out of other possible options, we decided to buy the pricey flight tickets (last minutekan) and contacted the facilitator to register our names.

Luckily, I managed to book a session for PI (I think this stands for private interview) with Father on next Friday as well. I don't know whether this Father (actually it'll be Deacon Rayner, I was told) will be the one who will wed us. So ok la. Attend course and also having the PI with Deacon Rayner.

By the way, is there anyone who could share what to expect from this marriage course / talk? And the PI session... sounds scary. What should be prepared with? Tlg pls... Hehe.

Ok, so tickets bought. Problem left was my part to apply my annual leaves for the trip. See, I just came back from KK earlier of this month... And that was quite a long holiday I had. (Bah, I thought I will only be back home next August or so ma). So I can feel my boss will be mad for me to be absent for another 3 working days (blm + weekend) considering she mentioned she asked me to help in the handover session for one of my colleague who's resigning.

Having no choice but to apply these leaves I proceeded to click my submission and typed an email to explain myself. Dub dab dub dab, she then walked to my place and asked if she can she me for a minute or so. Wah, I was nervous than usual. (I think everybody was nervous the whole day after lunch too. There was this thing happened where one of our colleague was let go on the spot! I don't know what happened. Guess we'll know soon enough) So being called to a room may have triggered some interests to some of my colleagues. Hehehe.

In the room, my boss asked me further about the leave and I explained. Then she proceeded to tell me her plans for the re-distribution of accounts and bla bla bla... So my dear colleagues, no I wasn't sacked or anything.... YET. Hahahahaha. But to tell you the truth, I was so shocked that people can actually be fired just like that. Maybe I don't know the whole story but I do hope the same thing didn't happen to me or the rest of my colleagues for that matter.

So all in all, to whom who took this Catholic marriage thingy before... would appreciate if you could share your experience or should there be any special knowledge that I need to know beforehand. Tx for reading. :)

T'was good!!!

After 2 weeks of not joining the group classes at the gym, I finally went for my combat class just now... and it felt good!!! My left knee got injured 2 weeks ago, which my doctor suggested that I have sprained it. Hence, excluding high impact workouts for myself for the last 2 weeks, just to let my knee heal.

I'm not sure whether or not my knee has completely healed, but there's no more pain, just mild discomfort when I bend it extensively. Do feel ashamed of myself though. May is just one unproductive month of gym-ing. For the last 2 weeks, I did go to the gym but with less frequency and just barely walked on the treadmill. No satisfaction whatsoever.

Anyways, I'm back on track I guess. Just need to be more careful on my dear knees. I totally need to change my trainers soon. Hmm, can't wait for the sale season to start!! :)

Bangas suda ni post... bila sia tinguk2 tu gambar balik mcm nda byk pula utk tatapan umum... Kekeke... Tp asalkan ada lah aa...
Hari tu sia balik naik MH instead of Airasia abis buring suda naik tu "airbas"... Sama ja macam pg station bas kan, service pun lebih kurang ja... yang beza bas ni terbang instead of on the road... hehehe. Tapi nda bulih komplen juga sbb memang tambang dia murah.. so pa bulih buat la kan... Masa flight sia tu ngam2 ternaik airbus pula... Best, luas, besar dan paling best sebelah sia teda urang... So sia monopoly la...

Cantik kan?

Buring di kapal....

Memandangkan partner sia balik duluan, jadi sia minta hantar Maso (geng gym sia, tq Maso) pg Putrajaya punya erl station. Kejap ja sampai suda KLIA. Ntah suda berapa kali suda sia kebosanan duduk 2 jam stgh dlm kapal... Tp at least this time ada makanan... tiapayah beli... kekeke... Duduk2 ja kena serve orange juice dan kacang... Pastu nda lama light lunch served.. Light la kali, kenyang juga ma...

Dlm ERL

Light lunch sia

Sampai KK dlm pukul 5ptg... Trus ngam2 masa limpas kedai2 inanam tu ada kebakaran... mcm tu office airasia... haha.

Tu kedai terbakar

First day, sia pg visit one of my old fren Maha (very old, since matrik time). She just delivered like 5 days before. Sgt excited mo jumpa dia nih abis almost a year nda bejumpa. Beforehand she asked me ideas for a girl's name. The thing is, she n Tony (the husband, also old fren) were told by the OB that they're expecting a boy (99.9% boy). So they have bought all the barang2 baby either in blue or white color... And all the names prepared were also meant for a boy, Maha bilang satu ja nama perempuan yg dia pilih... Tp mcm nda best dia bilang. So when I came to their house, I proposed a name... Tiffany Rose... abis nama bapa dia Tony... so mcm siok kalau T juga mula tu nama... Trus dia bilang akan dipertimbangkan... Haha, tp ditolak juga, in the end nama yg dorang bg tu baby Elyssa Lexi. Cute kan...

Proud mom

One happy family...

Then sia n family pg melawat adik sia di kem plkn tamparuli... doi jalan mo pg sana ada yg grabel ba... teruk betul... Tempat tu ada satu tasik dan ada flying fox punya tali merentas di atas tu tasik.. Kepingin oo mo try...

Teda teda ni, pg beli ketam bakau...

Then that evening we celebrated my mummy's 48th birthday... :)

Then the 3rd day sia pg hantar sia punya BE form di Jbtn Hasil KK... Hahaha, last minute kan... Tax submission la yg paling sia malas mo buat di dunia... Termasuk dlm kiraan Top 10 benda yang paling sia benci la kali... Pastu pg KWSP update benda2 bodoh... Pendek kata hari government errands sedunia la... Masa di sini nda mo buat abis teda masa kunun.

Dan sia beli phone baru... Murah dan function cukup bagi sia... W910i... :)

Beberapa hari di rumah sia menjadi tukang masak nda berbayar (seperti biasa) dan pg pasar / supermarket membeli mknan... Siok, mcm housewife... :D

Hari pekerja, mula2 ingat mo pg labuan sama adik sia (dan family tunang dia) tp nda jadi pula. Sia ikut family sia balik Ranau... Disebabkan magadau seja, tu gunung pun terang benderang ja, teda awan.. tp teda sia ambil gambar. Malas suda sia mo gambar tu gunung... siok lagi tinguk live, capture the image in my mind... haha. Sampai di Ranau, ngam2 tamu... Jam lagi tu dari pekan sampai di area tamu... teruk o.

The next day sia ikut mummy sia pg pasar pagi di pekan ranau.. trus sia beli kui lidah yg sgt sedap.. nda sempat sia ambil gambar abis sudah. Memandangkan teda mo buat hari 6 tu sia drag family sia pg Poring... Daddy sia bilang Poooring seja.. Pa bulih buat, sia jarang2 gia balik... mesti menang kan.. haha.. Ingat mo pg Sabah Tea punya tempat tu tp nda sempat pula... hish...

Hari minggu tu kami balik sia bawa mummy sia pg salun putung rambut...dan pg mansau di 1 borneo... Siok.

But then balik dr tu mummy sia kena tlefon bilang papa sia di hospital A&E. Dia pengsan sbb sakit dada. Mula2 mummy mcm serba salah mo pg ka tidak tp dlm pukul 11pm mcm tu her sister (my aunty) called telling her that my papa's condition was serious. He was admitted to CCU (cardiac care unit) and she worried for the worst. We [mummy, daddy, me and mama (we fetch her too)] rushed to the hosp, and to tell you the truth I cried silently when I saw my papa hanging onto dear life that time... Over time one by one his children showed up... Semua a bit tensed. I dont know how many Hail Mary (s) sia baca at that time. I was really really scared of losing him (my papa). Thank God, he was stabilised few hours later and we were told to go home to let him rest.

Masa tu we were fetching my mama home, and I can almost tell how sad she was. It must be heart broken to see your life partner in such condition. I can't even try to console her as I don't know what to say. Apa yg sia rasa masa tu was penyesalan sbb selalu berjauhan dr dorang dan sia takut kalau I will have no more chance in the future to be with them. I was one of the closest grandchild to them when I was little. During school holidays I will always follow them around, became their shop assistant in their small grocery store in Sepanggar Bay. I like to follow them around cause I will be close to the sea. I guess that's why I have dark (read tanned) skin now... All those time bathing, playing in the sand, running around near the port area... But it was FUN.... I miss that. A lot.

When we reached home, it was like 3pm. I can't sleep or to be honest refuses to sleep as I need extra period of consciousness just to digest what has happened. The next day I was scheduled to go back to KL. I was hesitating. My papa was still in the CCU but much better by that time. Seriously, I was thinking to change my flight date, but I have unavoidable responsibility back at the office. What a lame excuse but I have no choice. I left KK with a heavy heart, and I was crying the whole flight.

There was a Rosary prayer held at my grandparents' house that nite and I can only say mine quietly. Next day my mummy called me saying that my papa have been transfered to a normal ward. I was relieved but it's killing me being not able to see him. Then she said he'll need to undergo a surgery to unblock one of his artery. Now, so far the surgery went well and he's recuperating at the hospital. Thank you God.

So that's about my trip back to KK. It was sweet and bitter packed into one unforgettable memory.

Earth Day & A bit of Myth?

It's Earth Day today. Like Earth Hour, this is another way of raising awareness in conserving our Mother Earth so that we can continue to live in it.

To be honest, I wasn't aware of it, not until early last week when I came across one article about "meat eater vs vegetarian" in one of the local newspaper at the gym seating area. Guess I was not an avid environmentalist back then. Not that I am one now, but I do want to do something to help addressing the environment issues that we are facing now.

In the article, it was said that being a vegetarian actually helps in curbing our carbon footprints in this world. It has something to do with the amount of energy needed in order to supply us with meats. Won't write much on this cause you can pretty much just googled on any carbon footprint issues to read further. But I do want to point out a challenge raised by the writer, is to not eat meat for a week. Anybody up for the idea?

For my part, there's not much I've done to Mother Earth though. Of late I'm recycling plastic bottles regularly. It's easy, I just store empty plastic bottles and whenever I need to do my grocery shopping I will just bring them along and dump them at the designated recycling bin in front of the hypermarket (*hint Jusco). And I have my cute reusable bag for my shoppings to avoid plastic bag being used. It's a plus that Jusco plastic bags are biodegradable. Same like Fitness First plastic bags. So I can use them (still sparingly though) knowing that they'll recycle themselves in time. Other than that, I am switching of any unnecessary lights and any electrical points must be switched off when not in use. Not much... but I'm educating myself and my partner slowly. What about you guys? Any tips of environment friendly that you want to share?

On a different note, I was watching this "Lost Tape - Monterey Monster & Megalania on Discovery Channel last night and I can't help wondering the genuity of these tapes. Both tapes showed how the life of 2 people ended eaten/killed by these "mythical" creatures, captured on tape. If you did watch these before, the underwater shadowy image of the "monterey monster" was just disturbing and frightening. Tried to google about these tapes and people claims that these tapes were fake. But why did Discovery Channel aired them? They did state though, at the beginning of each tape saying "This story is inspired by the possibility that hidden creatures exist". Personally, I think these tapes are fake too. But a portion of myself wanting these creatures to exist just to add more mysteries to the world. My fav "mythical" monster is the infamous Lochness. :)

So mythical creatures infested or not, Mother Earth is still such a beautiful and amazing world to live in. So do try to do your part to protect our HOME whenever possible. @9779@

Shithead!

Pardon me, but I just need to vent.

I just came back from the gym and I'm not feeling well at the moment. Just now while heading back to the car, Maso and I passed thru this line of cars illegally parked outside. And just before we crossed the road, there's this car wanting to illegally side park his car there too causing us to step further aside in order to avoid the car ... And both of us muttered "Bodoh". (Yalah, u illegaly parked, causing trouble to ppl)

Then suddenly out of nowhere, got this one guy standing near one of the illegaly parked cars there shouted something like " you dua orang la yang bodoh, macam babi". I was like ??? WTF?! Both of us looked at him and he's still bla bla bla something but we kept walking towards my car. Maso said he was like wanting to chase us. OMG, perasan mau mampus...

I can't really see the face but he's dark skinned. WTF, you can rot in hell like I care.

Entertained but scared.

It's been a while since I last watched a scary film and since I gatal2 go and subscribed to April's Tayangan Hebat at Astro, my partner and I decided to layan "They Wait" just now.

The movie was about a tragedy befallen on one family during the Hungry Ghost Festival. I would say it's an OK scary movie, yet I wouldn't be watching it if I were alone... Haha.
I have something to share with you guys. When I was in secondary school, I was sooo into horror, dark mysteries and supernatural books.I think I read them too much that when I was in Form 5, I have had a some kind of a meltdown. I can't really explain much (as I can't quite understand why it happened)...

What happened was, on this one day I woke up and I started crying, crying and crying. I managed to get ready for school (I was schooling in SBPS, so it's a dormitory life), and I remembered it was like 5am or almost 6am , and I headed to one of our public phone available in front of our admin building. It was still a bit dark, and when I called home and my father answered and I was like sobbing and crying... I don't even remember what I was saying. Then my father asked me whether I want to talk to my mum and I said yes. But I don't remember what I told my mum too. I was like " sob...mie...sob sob... mummy.. sob". Got the idea right? Haha.
Cut the story short, I was still crying and was sitting in the principal's office waiting for my parents to come. When they arrived they asked permission to bring me back to home for a day. When we reached home, I remembered my mum started crying too, asking me what happened to me and stuff. She must have thought the worst. I couldn't say much cause I was still stupidly crying. And moments later my grandmother (I call her Mama) came to the house. Then she asked me to drink a glass of water with some weird pieces of wood inside. And I slept.
Amazingly, when I woke up, I was normal again. No more this heaviness in my chest that caused me to cry. I couldn't recall what caused me to cry earlier though. Being parents, they kept asking what happened to me. Then I told my mum and Mama that I was reading a ghost story the nite before, but not sure if the culprit because nothing else happened. Then they said that I was lemah semangat... which resulted in a meltdown. So I was forbidden to read anymore scary stuffs at that time. Yalah, with SPM coming at that time.
So since that incident, I gave up all ghost story books and no more horror films. Since I love reading so much, I started picking up romance novels instead. Haha, talking about a total diversion. Now that I'm an adult, I still somehow detest horror movies... and after all these years I finally read a scary novel months ago. I'm playing it safe I think. Hehehe.
I wonder if anyone has ever experienced this lemah semangat thing... I don't know what to believe but I do hope it will never happened again. Did freak me out.
P/S - My partner is dragging me to watch Fast & Furious tmr nite. Hope it'll worth my Sunday nite...O_O

Sepa mau tidur kijap?

I was reading my April issue of Reader's Digest during lunch today and came across this article on "How The World Sleeps". It's interesting to know that the sleeping culture differs almost greatly around the world.

The one part which amazes me was that in Spain, napping in the afternoon (or siesta) is widely practiced even on weekdays. Was mentioned that this actually contributes to a more productive employee rather than working straight for hours and hours and it benefits the cardiovascular health too. Japan also supporting this idea. (Malas mo tulis panjang2, bagus lagi kalau korang baca ni article sendiri..hehe)

However, for Western perception, napping at work shows sign of laziness. Darn it. I think sepa sepa yang kerja in the private sector mesti paham ni. Yalah, most of the private sectors are somehow US based ka, UK based ka... etc etc...

Just recently, I started to be able to just dozed off on my desk. U know like during lunch hour / after 6pm (after office hours la) but it won't be for long period. I think the longest nap I took after 6pm was about 10 minutes... But then, even if I let myself to doze off, there's this subconcious state of myself thinking that maybe my boss will see me dozing myself in the office and wonder why am I still in the office without doing any work...

Oh, how I wish I'm in Spain or some other hot countries where siesta is allowed... Just imagine, if we are to be allowed to bring our fav blanket or pillow and given an hour or so just napping ourselves away.... It'll be a total bliss!

An eventful nite...

It's Wednesday nite, and this means it's combat time for me... So as usual, I headed to the gym, joined combat, had lots of fun and did sweat like a pig hehehe... After the regular green tea afterwards, I went to the sauna... Memanggang diri... Haha

Before I went in, I was thinking that maybe this time I will stay longer than 10 minutes... Just to relax in an 80 degrees celcius room... So I went, and oh yes, my gym buddy Maso was with me all the time... there's this lady with a towel inside... nothing strange yet.. Maso and I sit farther from each other and the lady was kinda in the middle of the room. There was only 3 of us in the sauna room.

All was quiet for a while, then suddenly the lady make a sudden move... Being in a dimly lit room, any movements are very noticeable. So I looked her way, and I think so did Maso... and
I cant believe what I was seeing... her Vah-jay-jay!!!

OMG OMG... Eversince I joined gym, I have only seen topless women walking around in the locker room, but Vah-jay-jay??!! OMG... Both Maso and I were looking at each other trying to hold our laughter... and I think just a mere 5 minutes in the sauna room, we were out. Just can't handle the nudiness of that lady anymore.. I mean after that she kept moving and kept showing more unnecessary skin.

After showering, there's another weird thing happened. We saw this one African lady heading to the sauna... minutes after, she came out and the locker room smells like something burning and there were smoke coming out from the sauna room. I may have shouted (still traumatised with the fire accident last year) and the African lady yelled back "NO!". So I just shrugged and said "Ohh ok", thinking that she was trying to say nothing's wrong. But minutes later the cleaning ladies came running towards the sauna room holding buckets of water in their hands saying "Jahat betul lah perempuan negro nih". Maso and I shot blanked faces at each other. Then the cleaning lady told us that the African lady poured milk onto the sauna stones to generate more smoke... WTF?! And that was not the first time she did that... I just don't understand... the sauna room is averagely at 80 degrees... why does she need more smoke?

Ok people, just need to vent here... I think I have enough craziness for tonite.

P/S - If you're bored, join a gym. And sorry for the 18SX feature. Haha.

Why Oh Why

I have been exercising a lot since I joined FF and more especially after I've got myself my new gym buddy, Maso... Hehe. Seriously, am a BIG fan of combat classes.

Anyways, the scale has yet proven to be nice to me. The numbers shown so far were of a minute differences... Not as much as I have anticipated before.. :( WHY WHY

Fellow FF-ians told me that it'll take months to see very big difference. Though agreeing with them, can't help feeling a bit annoyed though. O_O

Dieting wise, I'm eating normal. Cutting out portion whenever possible. Big difference now is that I don't indulge in typical M'sian breakfast anymore. And I would say this move helps a lot. Not eating is just not a thing for me...Hehe...

Am crossing my fingers that more changes are happening in the future.

P/S - Am not complaining on the happier mood and increase in overall stamina though. :)

Earth Hour 2009

At 8.30pm of this coming 28th has been declared as Earth Hour 2009. Major cities in the world (including KL) are participating in this annual event created by WWF in the hope to raise awareness on the needs to fight global warming.

As an individual, I guess we can pledge by switching off all lights in our own home too. It will just be an hour of darkness and it actually is not that bad. I mean back at my hometown, I have always experienced blackouts at home. Mesti ada in a month. For no reason at all. Usual assumption was that SESB is doing something...haha.

When there's no electricity, there's a lot of things you can do to kill the time. With just a simple candle lit in a room, you can read books, tell stories to your kids (if any), play with your cats (if any), doodling, sing, gossiping, eating and bla bla bla...just name it. When I was small I like to play with the melting wax from the candle stick. Haha... best tau.

So guys, let's do something to Mother Earth. With all the freaky climate changes that are now happening everywhere in the world something need to be done quickly. Or else, we might need to migrate to another planet, if any. (Ok false hope... Basically, no Earth, no mankind)

p/s - You'll save electricity cost for an hour too!

To or Not To?

Better not. More cons then pros. I'll try to be happy with what I have right now.

Tired

I'm tired of having to call TM over and over again with regards to my Streamyx issue. And after all the ding-donging for 2 months, enough is enough.

Since the contract is finishing coming 31/3/2009, my partner said will not continue with this kind of service anymore.

Then I'm wondering on whether should I subscribe Jaring / Maxis for my next internet service provider? Is there anyone using either one of this?

Temptation... AT WORK!!!

I'm crazy. I have this VERY strong urge to finish reading a book by Sophie Kinsella titled "The Undomestic Goddess" right now. I've reached Chapter 10 at lunch just now. omg, if only I'm a housewife now...

-Friday De 13th-

I have nothing to write about the title of this post though... haha. Was not even aware of it not until Kong mentioned it.

Anyways, how many of you watch or follow the latest season of American Idol? Me and my partner do. Last nite, I can't believe that they've picked "Norman Gentle" as one of the Top 36 contestant??!! I mean, come on... He's a great comic..but singer I don't think so... And I thought American Idol is all about the singing??!!

Well, just hope that the judges aren't nut enough to let him go further than Top 36 though... :D

*** My partner have a total opposite opinion on this though. He said that "Norman Gentle" is entertaining enough and his voice was not that bad... O_O

Got mugged!!!

Stupid TM.
It's been almost 2 months since I last used my Streamyx account.
After several battles over the phone with the people behind the number 100, FINALLY, the contractor came just now and no, I still didn't get my internet connection yet.
Like a mantra the contractor told me... "Please wait for another 2-7 working days before one of our guy come and do the jumping stuff for you". Don't this sounds familiar to you???

Then the most irritating part is of course the extra monies that you need to pay to them. When we first call, the people behind the number 100 told us that there'll be no extra charge to us since we NEED to move to another house. It's not like we simply move or anything... my previous house caught fire la... But then the contractor asked for another RM30 just now (for installation) and I will still need to pay RM50 (to TM for changing address) WTF???!!!

Seriously, I just want my internet back. And thank God that this contract is only for a year. Can't wait for it to finish and I shall find a new service provider... or downgrade my internet capacity for a cheaper bill.

Life is really a bitch.
