Yes, I am moving to my new house and also my new office soon! Excited!!! not so much for the latter though...
Our house is almoooosssst ready, and I pray hard that I can finally move in on the coming weekend 23-24 June 2012. I doubt the kitchen will be 100% ready by that time but I don't care. I'm anxious and just can't wait any longer. Funny thing is, although excited, the packing part at my current place is still not going in full force. I'm not sure when or how will I finish pack them up. Currently I'm staying in an apartment (more like a flat) and with 3 rooms, they are full of junks. And I think mostly are mine. O_O I'm planning to give away some clothes, keep all books (tonnes of them) and I just don't know what to do with "others". With a toddler that won't allow you to be out of sight packing is like a mission impossible for me. Whatever it is, I still have to endure all that and make sure our a**es are out of the apartment by end of this month. Must. I have already asked my landlord to use my deposit for this month's rental. And they are coming next week to check on their house. I hope we didn't do much damage to it. Hehe.
About moving office.. Remember when I wrote about being laid off by the company? Well, I was not in that big group of people but instead our team will be moved to the Gardens (main office). If you do not know where the Gardens is, well just think Mid Valley. Yes, of all places. I ended up working in a crowded place once again. Can't say much. I just go with the flow at the moment. So Pajam to Gardens.. Definitely need public transport. What else? KTM is the answer. Although not looking forward to board KTM on a daily basis, a part of me felt relieved that I don't have to drive at 130km/hr every morning just to reach office at 9.10 - 9.30am every morning soon. Pathetic I know.
All in all, a lot of things happening and I'm looking forward to the positive things. Say new house.. Mmm it's new, our own, bigger place for Bebe Ian to run around. New office... It's a new posh place and it's at Mid Valley! Eateries and baby boutiques everywhere! :D
As the title suggested, things in this blog are mainly my opinions and thoughts over anything I came across to... :)

Dark & Bright
Yesterday, as expected my ever dearest boss, the biggest one (both in power and size, at least among the bosses in M'sia office) decided to make my life miserable by not approving my non pay leave right after my xmas leave. She asked me to come back in Jan to work for 2 weeks then only fly back home again... WTF.
By that time it will be nearing my 36th weeks gestation and the thought of flying when I'm that "heavy" is scary. I even doubt the airline will allow me on board at that time. My doc forbids me to board airline after the 16/1/2010 but do I dare to fly at all during that period?
I somehow understand her given reason though. Not enough resources to cover my stuff. But then again, that's the point of telling you earlier, my dear boss. That you will have enough time to find that resources. Crap and crap.
What to do, what to do... Well, I did speak out my mind to my direct boss, smaller than the first one. So I guess I'll have to wait and see the next verdict.
I was so pissed yesterday and I have the thought to quit my job. But then I finally came to my senses that not having my own money will sucks big time. Really sucks.
Okay bitter part aside, let me look at the brighter, happier and fun side. This coming Friday, I will witness my first international tennis match called the Showdown of Champions, A Night of Aces... Hhehehe... Wanna see how pretty Anna Kournikova is in person... Excited! Ohh, I will go with my husband coz I won 2 tickets worth RM188 each through Redfm... I luv you Redfm. :D The seatings are not bad too for these tics, just at the side of the court, the call it golden seating. Grin.
And next week... OMG, I will go attend Glam Nation Tour concert on the 14th!!! Ngeheheehe.... I have been waiting since last year for Adam Lambert to come to M'sia and I will finally see him (from a far) next freaking week! This one I have to buy the tickets myself coz I don't dare to gamble and wait whether I will win any from any sponsors / radio stations. Ticket sales started on 14/9 and I bought on the same day. Haha, that's how agitated I was to get hold of the tickets. Seating plan wise, ok la. I guess. I hope so! Husband is tagging along cause he said nobody will take care of me during the concert, and one of my dear friend is coming too. My initial partner to go... Yes yes....Hehehe I can even feel my baby inside of me is excited to go as well. Haha.
Wah... can't wait for these events... I'm so demotivated at work now that I need more fun things to do. Another 2 ++ hours to go before office hours ended for today. Argh!!... (Don't judge, I know you've been slacking off during office hours too :P)

Lost World
Just when I thought I am the most screwed up person in this world, I came to know that
there are actually more people that I know ended up in this same boat that I'm in now...
What a life.
Today a good friend of mine shared with me about the feeling of being LOST. More of being uncertain of what path should we choose in life... I guess for me it will be career wise.
What should I do next? Lab work? Highly unlikely... Back to insurance line? Argh... even the thought of actually doing the things I used to do makes my head ache... So stay in this current one? It's leading me to nowhere... So what then? My husband asked me to set a goal... I don't even know how to set for one right now.
I know most of you will think how irresponsible I must be... Approaching 30 years old this year and still unsure about career path. I envy people who has been doing the same thing forever... Like most of my Uni friends who took up teaching course right after they graduate. Some were lucky enough to get to work in the gov sector. Now they are teachers, high ranked gov officers and I doubt that they will have to think to change their careers anymore.
Sometimes I do regret of my chosen field of study. Maybe I should have chosen something that is more career specific... But there's no point in dwelling the past anyway.
This can go on all night long and will come to no conclusion. The sharing I had with that friend I mentioned also ended the same. Guess it's easy to find a job ... but to find a job that you really love and passion about is like searching for a needle in the mountain of hay.

Busy Bee cum Zombie
I have been very busy lately. Lack of sleep and mounting of stress is basically my routine now. Tons of work to do at the office (and they followed me home too!). I have just cleared one big client's mess and there's another big one to follow... and the cycle will repeat itself until end of July... haiihh...
Got a breather for awhile when I attended my cousin's wedding last Saturday, and since the reception was in Malacca, I took the chance to "jalan-jalan" with my dad, my brother and my partner there... Enjoyed it but was very super tiring...
Hmm, my dad and my brother flew back to KK last nite and life is back to normal in my household. Boring boring...
On wedding prep, I have yet to confirm on the photographer part. Guess I will need to steal a bit of time tomorrow to sort this out. My mom is nagging me on the mass ceremony arrangement. Need to appoint readers, pick the choirs... and bla bla bla... The one thing concerns me the most is to find which readings from the bible that I should choose for the ceremony. Another hmm...
Crossing my fingers for a better and calmer week ahead.

Sudden change of plans...
I can't believe it, but I'll be flying back to KK again next Wednesday!!! Soooo unexpected.
It's a long story but I'll try to make it short. It's all about the pre-marriage course/talk. The thing is my partner and I were suppose to take the course this July 17th. Everything was going smoothly until my partner was assigned to go attend a convention in London on the same date. Wargh!!! Tension tension. The most barnacle part was that he can't do anything to change or cancel the trip coz apparently it was already decided by the mother company and otherbla bla bla. O_O
So since we don't have much time until the wedding, we have to find other means to take the course. Search punya search, the most suitable will be the one at Sacred Heart KK this coming June. Out of other possible options, we decided to buy the pricey flight tickets (last minutekan) and contacted the facilitator to register our names.
Luckily, I managed to book a session for PI (I think this stands for private interview) with Father on next Friday as well. I don't know whether this Father (actually it'll be Deacon Rayner, I was told) will be the one who will wed us. So ok la. Attend course and also having the PI with Deacon Rayner.
By the way, is there anyone who could share what to expect from this marriage course / talk? And the PI session... sounds scary. What should be prepared with? Tlg pls... Hehe.
Ok, so tickets bought. Problem left was my part to apply my annual leaves for the trip. See, I just came back from KK earlier of this month... And that was quite a long holiday I had. (Bah, I thought I will only be back home next August or so ma). So I can feel my boss will be mad for me to be absent for another 3 working days (blm + weekend) considering she mentioned she asked me to help in the handover session for one of my colleague who's resigning.
Having no choice but to apply these leaves I proceeded to click my submission and typed an email to explain myself. Dub dab dub dab, she then walked to my place and asked if she can she me for a minute or so. Wah, I was nervous than usual. (I think everybody was nervous the whole day after lunch too. There was this thing happened where one of our colleague was let go on the spot! I don't know what happened. Guess we'll know soon enough) So being called to a room may have triggered some interests to some of my colleagues. Hehehe.
In the room, my boss asked me further about the leave and I explained. Then she proceeded to tell me her plans for the re-distribution of accounts and bla bla bla... So my dear colleagues, no I wasn't sacked or anything.... YET. Hahahahaha. But to tell you the truth, I was so shocked that people can actually be fired just like that. Maybe I don't know the whole story but I do hope the same thing didn't happen to me or the rest of my colleagues for that matter.
So all in all, to whom who took this Catholic marriage thingy before... would appreciate if you could share your experience or should there be any special knowledge that I need to know beforehand. Tx for reading. :)
